"From the host..."
The Evening Star Tourist Park is situated on a working cattle station just 9km west of Charleville. The park was opened in March 2008 with 14 powered, huge grassy sites to accomodate buses and 5th wheelers and 12 unpowered sites. The ammentites are brand new with disabled facilities and laundry. The bush kitchen has hot water and power as well as gas and wood BBQ's which are free. The open camp fire is lit every night for guests to enjoy whilst watching the evening star rise in the west. There are bush walks, plenty of birds and brilliant night skies but mostly peace and quiet. Book a spot on the guided station tour in an air conditioned bus to learn about grazing in the mulga lands and our unique enviroment. Finish off your stay with us with a sunset tour to watch the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine or beer and some "spot lighting" on the way home!
