"From the host..."
The Abbey of the Roses is a magnificent gothic sandstone building constructed in 1893 for use as a convent. It is now Heritage and National Trust listed and functions as a premier bed and breakfast on the Southern Downs. The abbey is also a wedding and function centre, a retreat and provides quality meals in the restaurant. Themed weekends, including murder mysteries, Faulty Towers, wine and heritage tours are a specialty of the hosts.
