Euston began as a station in 1847, founded by Edward Morley. As news of the fine grazing lands spread, many more followed and Euston quickly grew into a small township. Euston was a busy inland port when bullock and horse teams brought their huge loads of wool and wheat to the fleet of steamers and barges that transported the consignments to Echuca and Morgan in South Australia.
