Pop Part of Sydney. (59km NW Sydney) Small settlement next to the historic town of Richmond, at the base of the Blue Mountains. The RAAF Air Base is situated here. William Cox a soldier, and later a builder and roadmaker, established his property which he named 'Clarendon' in the vicinity of Windsor. His estate was in itself a small village with a wide range of trades and industry established. At a later stage a small village sprung up nearby and took the name of the Cox property. .
